Aroya opened its doors in 1976, dedicating itself to the School of Paris, the School of Madrid and the Grupo El Paso.
After giving way to a second generation, it pays more attention to the international art, more appropriate to our times, especially to the Lyrical Abstraction of the ‘50s and ‘60s, with painters such as Serge Poliakoff, André Lanskoy..., and to the New Figurative Art of the ‘80s, with Miquel Barceló and Jaume Plensa as the best representatives.
Simultaneously, Aroya has specialized in the furniture by European architects and designers of the ‘50s and ‘60s, with pieces by Le Corbusier, Charlotte Perriand, Harry Bertoïa, Charles and Roy Eames... just to mention a few.
